Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you begin.

Learn how the care guide, appointments, professional profiles, prescriptions, privacy, and emergency support are intended to work.

Does the care guide diagnose a condition?

No. It asks general questions and suggests a type of professional who may be suitable. Only a qualified healthcare professional can assess, diagnose, or recommend treatment.

Which professionals may be available?

The directory may include psychologists, gynaecologists, urologists, sexologists, and other approved professionals. Availability and consultation modes depend on each professional.

How do I book an appointment?

Use the care guide or specialist directory, sign in as a patient, select an available professional, and submit an appointment request. A request is not confirmed until its status changes to confirmed.

Can I consult by chat, phone, or video?

Available modes are shown on each professional's profile. A doctor may decide that an in-person examination is needed when remote consultation is not appropriate or sufficient.

Can a doctor issue a prescription?

A qualified doctor may issue a prescription only after an appropriate consultation and clinical assessment, subject to applicable professional and telemedicine rules. A prescription is not guaranteed.

How do I sign in?

Enter your registered email address and Ubreak Free will send a six-digit verification code. The code expires after 10 minutes and can be used only once. Patients verify their email during registration; doctor and administrator accounts must already be approved.

Is my information private?

Account, appointment, and prescription records are stored on the hosting server and protected by encrypted website access, email verification codes, and role permissions. Patients, assigned doctors, and administrators receive different levels of access. No online system can promise absolute security.

Can I use an anonymous name?

The care guide can be explored without sharing detailed identity information. A healthcare professional may still need to verify your identity and age before providing a consultation or prescription.

What should I do in an emergency?

Do not wait for an online appointment. Contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department for severe pain, heavy bleeding, breathing difficulty, fainting, self-harm risk, or immediate danger.

How can a doctor join Ubreak Free?

Professionals can email the team for onboarding information. Credentials, registration, identity, specialty, and service details must be reviewed before a real profile is activated.

How do I contact support?

Email contact@ubreakfree.org. Avoid sending passwords or detailed medical information by ordinary email.
